Este domingo 15 de septiembre se celebró la segunda edición de los Premios Emmy en el año pues la entrega que estaba prevista para 2023 fue pospuesta para enero tras la huelga de escritores y actores en Estados Unidos. Para su edición número 76, la noche más importante de la televisión en Hollywood tuvo como grandes protagonistas a Shōgun, The Bear y True Detective: Night Country, series que lideraron las nominaciones.

Esta vez, The Bear superó su récord de 10 galardones en las categorías de comedia, llevándose 11. Jeremy Allen White y Ebon Moss-Bachrach ganaron una vez más como Mejor actor y Mejor actor de reparto en serie de comedia, respectivamente, mientras que su coestrella Liza Colón-Zayas ganó su primer Emmy como Mejor actriz de reparto en serie de comedia.
Por su parte, Shōgun fue el show más premiado de la ceremonia al quedarse con 18 Emmys incluyendo Mejor actor (Hiroyuki Sanada), Mejor actriz (Anna Sawai) y Mejor dirección (Frederick E.O. Toye) en serie dramática. La polémica Baby Reindeer se quedó con los reconocimientos a Mejor actor, Mejor actriz de reparto y Mejor guión en una miniserie.
